New Projects
For new start-up projects, we provide support and leadership in the following project activity areas:
- Evaluate stakeholders’ needs and formulate statements of management and/or business problems, and present the findings for review and approval by the stakeholders and senior management.
- Define and document the scope and objectives for the project, determine budgetary requirements, composition of the project team, and the terms of reference for the project governance and the project team.
- Develop the project business case, and present for review and approval by the stakeholders and senior management.
- Organize, develop, and release RFI / RFP documents to prospective COTS/SI vendors. Review and evaluate vendor responses.
- Develop and manage project budget, schedules, procurements, quality measures, and performance management.
- Manage the project from project initiation through each major project phase/gate until completion / closeout.
- Develop team building and team development strategies, and manage the project team to maximize the contribution of each team member and the team as a whole.
- Monitor and report on project progress during each phase/gate, present status reports to project governance, and obtain approval to proceed to subsequent phase/gate until project is completed.
